The exchange of animals or their products that are protected under the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES) requires unique permitting based on the animal/animal derived products being exchanged.
Animals/animal products that do not fall under CITES but are considered “wildlife” (ie-not domesticated) require Fish and Wildlife review and declarations of movement based on the animal/animal derived products being exchanged.
